Advice for younger generations in BoostHER or young females in general at Western University: Think big and don’t be the person to say “no” to yourself. Oftentimes, the worst thing that can happen isn’t that significant and the best thing that can happen is you achieve your dreams.

Don’t underestimate the power of your network. BoostHER tries really hard to create a strong and valuable network and it is so important to leverage that. Learning from experienced professionals who have dealt with several challenges is so valuable and applicable to your everyday life/career.

It takes time to figure out what you are really passionate about, and universities don’t always guide you in the best ways, so develop a network of supportive mentors to help you and be curious.

You do not have to know what you want to be when you grow up. Take your time. Try different things. You may end up in a place or role or job you don't even know exists yet.
